Q: What should I wear?

Bonza Bash Halloween 2013 is a Masquerade Costume Ball, so you’re equally welcome in Classic Masquerade (ie: suit or tux for the guys, cocktail dress or ball gown for the ladies, plus the mask of course) or Delicious Costume (think fun, sexy, interesting). At the Bonza Bash, dress code is strictly enforced. You must be dressed in either masquerade OR a costume to gain entry to the party. If not, security will kindly ask you to go home and change your attire. There will be no entry for guests wearing denim jeans/sneakers on the basis of “this is my costume” / “I’m a rockstar” / “I’m myself” etc… Yes, someone tries this EVERY year. Yes, the result for those guests will still be the same!

This is a rare opportunity in Seattle to dress to impress. Dare to be dapper, debonair and chic!

Q: Can I wear jeans?

No. Every year someone tries to turn up claiming their costume is “jeans and sneakers wearing guy”. Just FYI, that is not a real costume.

Ticket information

Q: What do I do if I didn’t receive my email confirmation?

Don’t worry – the most likely cause for this is the confirmation message inadvertently ended up in your spam folder, or if you use Gmail, in one of your other tabs. You can easily re-download or print the ticket from within Shindigg. Here are some instructions on how to do that:

Also, all tickets are electronic, so as long as long as the name on your ticket matches your ID, we’ll be able to find you in the system and check you in on the night.

Q: How do I download my ticket or re-print it?

You may download your ticket or re-print it by following these instructions:

Q: How do I change the name on one of my tickets?

You can do this by editing the ticket holder information within Shindigg. Here’s how: Note, you must do this before 5pm 10/26/2013.

Q: Do I need to bring a printed copy of the ticket?

It is not strictly necessary, however, we do recommend doing this since it will help speed-up check-in. If you can’t print out a copy of your ticket or show the PDF on your smartphone, please make sure that the name on the ticket matches the name on your ID. You can edit the name on your ticket here:

Q: Can I just show the ticket on my phone instead?

Yes, you can. Please open up the PDF on your phone as you’re getting to the front of the line so it’s ready for the folks at check-in.

Q: I can no longer come to the event, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the commitments made to the venue and vendors, it is not possible to get a refund to this event. However, you may sell your ticket and transfer it to someone else prior to the event. Here’s how:

Q: Do you have any special deals for Bonza Bash attendees?

Check out deals on hotels, transport, etc… here.

Group Discounts and Bookings

Q: Do you do discounts for large groups?

Yes. If you’re got a group of 10+ people coming, Contact us for information on group discounts.

Q: Will my costume accessories be permitted?

For the safety of all guests, all accessories to costumes (swords, guns, staves, wands, etc…) will be inspected and approved by security staff. It seems obvious, but all your props must be fake. Plastic swords etc… are allowed, real ones are not! Security staff will inspect your props prior to entry.

Q: Do I need to bring ID? What if I’m really, really over 21?

All guests – regardless of age or appearance will be required to present government accredited ID at arrival. No guest – regardless of age or appearance will be granted entry into the venue without ID. These checks will be conducted by the security team, please don’t disappoint yourself or your friends by being the only one absent any ID – even if you look comfortably over 21.

If you are under 21, this is the wrong event for you. No patrons – regardless of ticket holder status – will be granted entry if under the age of 21.

Q: Is re-entry permitted?

Yes, you may exit the venue and re-enter at a later time.
